Hepar Sulph is the remedy for treating painful infections, where the animal may be irritable and the infected area is sensitive to touch. This remedy is especially useful for smelly ears, particularly where there is discharge. Used for conditions where there is pus, or inflammation, such as abscesses, cysts and anal glands. You should give one pill every 2 hours for up to 6 hours and then reduce to one pill 4 times a day for 7-10 days, or until condition improves. For persistent problems, this may need to be repeated monthly to keep the condition under control.
